There's more reasons than ever to want cold hard cash in Borderlands 3. Since launch, Gearbox has introduced several money sinks. These include storage expansion items that can be purchased, which was introduced in a patch, and assorted cash sinks like VIP doors in the new Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot DLC. For players discovering that they're near-to-broke, Borderlands 3 has luckily also provided a new (and likely unintended) cash farm.

YouTuber Glitching Queen has a new video summarizing the latest cash farm in Borderlands 3. It's an endlessly repeatable farm that promises a ton of quick cash. However, it does have a couple of  requirements that not all Borderlands 3 players can meet. First, it requires players own Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot and to have progressed to the Impound Deluxe fast travel station. Second, it requires an initial investment of cash.

After progressing a short way, players will want to find two mantle spots with blue paint along the eastern side of the map. This will take players  to an upper area with a series of "VIP Only" doors. These doors require cash to open and player will have to open four of them. In this fourth room will be a mini-boss named Mister Hoardmore, but he's not the farm. He's just a bonus loot drop. There's also a fifth VIP Only door that can be opened for a weapon cache.

With the four VIP doors open, the cash farm is now accessible. While standing by where the fifth VIP door is, players turn around and go two rooms back. In this room will be several Handsome Jackpot slot machines that can be shot so they drop cash. After picking up the cash, players return to the fifth VIP door in the final room. After waiting 5 seconds for the slot machines to respawn players can repeat. This process can be done endlessly.

The result is a quick and easy slot machine farm with no enemies. The only problem is the initial cost of opening the VIP Only doors, which will require around 6 runs of the loop just to recuperate spent cash. Luckily, each run only takes less than 30 seconds. Borderlands 3 players will be making money in a matter of minutes and making it fast.

Borderlands 3 is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
