WWE 2K20 will be getting some new content in the form of more Originals content, which is known as Wasteland Wanderers. As suggested by the name, the content brings to WWE 2K20 a host of post-apocalyptic-themed features and items that evoke classic post-apocalyptic properties like Mad Max and Fallout.

The Wasteland Wanderers Originals DLC includes a host of new appearances for wrestlers like Dave Batista, Seth Rollins (or Seth the Wanderer in the DLC), and Samoa Joe. While much of the emphasis is placed on the Mad Max-like cosmetic appearance of wrestlers with the DLC, there will also be new story towers for the likes of Roman Reigns and Rhea Ripley.

As described in the New Showcase, WWE 2K20 will see Seth Rollins invited to a tournament that takes place in a post-apocalyptic city. However, Rollins appears to be forced to participate in the series of matches until he faces off against Samoa Joe.

The new story towers include "Hostile Takeover" for Survivor Roman Reigns, "Gas Tax" for Survivor Pete Dunne, "Trapped With Me" for Survivor Rhea Ripley, and "Song of the Drifter" for Survivor Elias. Each of the story towers puts its own post-apocalyptic twist on the unique tournaments the superstars have to go through as they survive in the wasteland.

The new superstar characters in the Wasteland Wanderers Originals DLC include Grand Champion Batista, Overlord Samoa Joe, All Fortune Fighter, Raider Velveteen Dream, among others, including:

- Seth the Wanderer

- Corbin the Gatekeeper

- Advocate Jack Gallagher

- Warrior Ruby Riott

The new arenas included in the DLC are "Overlord's Coliseum" and "The Scrapyard." Both may be linked to the Seth the Wanderer tournament in some way.

Finally, the DLC will include other new content, such as more commentary, more Superstar parts, and more Create-an-Arena parts. Additionally, there will be added themed weapons.

The "fictional realm" that is the Wasteland Wanderers Originals DLC can be obtained via multiple means. One method includes purchasing either the game's Deluxe Edition or 20th Anniversary Edition for $89.99 and $129.99, respectively. Otherwise, it can be purchased separately from the other DLC content for $14.99. Alternatively, it can be purchased as part of the Backstage Pass, which includes the Wasteland Wanderers Originals DLC as well as the following two DLC's.

WWE 2K20 is currently available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
