Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition arrives on console

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition

One of the most acclaimed RPGs of all time has finally made its way to consoles. Skybound Games and Beamdog have released Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Players can get hold of a digital copy of the game from their favorite online retailers or a physical edition can be purchased from major “brick and mortar” stores.

NWN was selected as the 2002 Computer RPG of the Year and this year’s enhanced edition features the original campaign and over 100 hours of additional content delivered through DLC. This includes “10 standalone D&D-based adventures featuring co-op and online multiplayer gameplay”. In addition, players will also receive the Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark expansions and several premium modules.

The 2019 version of the game has been tailored specifically for consoles with a number of big upgrades including high-resolution widescreen display options, optimized console controls, improved UI and UX, bug fixes, rebalancing tweaks, and an updated rendering engine.
