Red Dead Redemption 2 hits Steam one month after PC launch

Rockstar's blockbuster cowboy romp Red Dead Redemption is set to release on Steam at the start of December.

The publisher revealed via Twitter (below) that the title will be launching on December 5th, exactly one month following its PC debut on the Epic Games Store, Rockstar's own launcher and various third-party retailers at the beginning of November.

The game had a pretty rocky start to its launch with a variety of issues plaguing the cowboy blockbuster on PC for which Rockstar has apologised.

The game originally launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at the end of 2018. To date, publisher Take-Two has shipped over 26.5m copies of the title. For the longest time, Take-Two wouldn't confirm if Red Dead Redemption 2 was coming to PC
