The Elder Scrolls Online shared an update on the ongoing performance improvements and shared new details on the road ahead.
For Q4 2019 (update 24), the memory management overhaul and a complete rewrite of the LFG system has been implemented. Adjustments have been made since then to fix some performance-related issues.
Q1 2020 sees a patching overhaul, faster loading fixtures and characters, behind-the-scenes combat ability improvements (phase 2), framerate improvements (part 1) – all of which are set to release in Update 25.
Q2 2020 will see account database “cold storage,” server optimization and stability, player character loading performance improvements, framerate improvements (part 2), and behind the scenes combat ability improvements phase 3 for Update 26.
