The Nintendo Switch Lite Flip Cover & Screen Protector just appeared on Nintendo’s website over the last few days and if you have a Switch Lite you’ll want to take a look.
Due to hit the market in late December, the Nintendo Switch Lite Cover & Screen Protector might seem a bit late on the market. After all, we’ve already had our hands on with the Snakebyte Carry:Case and a Venoms Essentials Kit. Almost two months after launch, we’re getting an all in one cover kit from Nintendo that looks pretty appealing. The Nintendo Switch Lite Flip Cover is a new product that appears to wrap around your Nintendo switch providing a shield for the relatively new mobile console and incorporates a cover for the screen. While you are busy building new challenges in Super Mario Maker 2 or racing through Mario kart 8, the screen is protected by a protective sheet for the LCD screen. Once you are done for the day, the cover flips over and keeps it free from any more significant damage.
Where, When, & How Much
The Nintendo Switch Lite Flip Cover & Screen Protector will be available to purchase exclusively online beginning Dec. 8 at the Nintendo Store and select retailer websites at a suggested retail price of $39.99. The set will hit retail stores in early 2020. While this isn’t the first protective accessors for the Switch Lite, it is the first officially licensed product I’ve seen in the Nintendo Store in this wrap around the format. The color scheme is also a little more aligned to the Lite’s more subdued demeanor and is certainly more appealing to pull out on the commute into work.
