Today, Borderlands 3 revealed its forthcoming DLC, Mad Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, that will see players try to return the casino that Handsome Jack seemingly stole form her back to Moxxi. While a ton of details for it were revealed, including the return of a Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel character, the goodies didn't stop there. At the end of the Borderlands show, Randy Pitchford and company revealed a new shift code, followed by yet another shift code posted directly on Randy Pitchford's social media.
It seems both can be redeemed for a Golden Key, an in-game way of collecting new loot. The best time to use these is level 50, as the loot scales to the player's level. So, this would also be a good way to prepare for the forthcoming Takedown at Maliwan's Blacksite DLC, assuming players get good loot, of course. The first code is CJ5BT-6XRSH-X359C-STK33-BZHW5, and while the tweet does not have an expiration date and time, Borderlands 3 players should try to redeem this as soon as possible.
The second code is CZKJB-SWSSB-HKB55-33TJT-RXZ6R, and it will remain active until 8am PT/10am CT Thursday, November 21. To redeem this in-game, Borderlands 3 players will just need to navigate the menu to the Shift Code input screen, do so, and the grab the key out of the mail. For those not immediately near their game, it can also be redeemed online on the official Shift Code site.
Typically, Pitchford releases these codes on the weekend, so getting one alone in the middle of the week would be a big perk. But two shift codes at one time is something Borderlands 3 players who have been keeping up with this will likely cherish. After all, it's practically free loot.
Plus, Borderlands 3 players trying their odds at the Golden Chest on Sanctuary 2 may prepare them for the forthcoming Handsome Jackpot DLC, as it seems like it will be really rewarding with loot. The devs on the Borderlands show essentially described this as Moxxi's slot machines turned to 11, but luckily, fans won't have to wait too long as the Mad Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot DLC release date isn't too far away.
