In just a few days, Pokemon Sword and Shield are set to release exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. Both games will form part of the eighth generation of the Pokemon franchise, and the second Pokemon games to be released on the Switch after Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee. Both games are now available for pre-loading on the Switch.

Now, given that the upcoming games will contain a vast amount of content, which is estimated to take more than 10GB of space on the Switch, players should expect a sizable game world with sprawling towns and wildlands to explore. However, for serious Pokemon trainers looking to make the most out of the experience can pre-order the official strategy guide of Pokemon Sword and Shield, which is currently discounted at Amazon.
