After almost two whole days of complete blackout, Fortnite is back online with a whole new map.

Chapter 2 of Fortnite looks massively different, changing the game so much that people are flocking back to see what's new. Along with the new locations, skills, and visuals, there are eleven new challenges for Season 1, Week 1 of Chapter 2. One of those challenges is find 10 of the new landmarks available in Fortnite's new layout.

Location, Location, Location

The New World missions seem to be in place to help players get familiar with the new Chapter 2 changes. This includes things like finding named locations, using the new fishing rod to catch weapons, and finding landmarks.

Landmarks, unlike named locations, aren't written on the map. They are specific buildings or statues or weird-looking geographical points. One is even a bridge. These are pretty easy to spot when players are up close to them, but might be harder to spot from a distance.

Luckily for players, there are way more than ten landmarks on the new Chapter 2 map, so finding at least a handful by accident will be fairly simple. Also, some locations will look familiar to players who knew the previous maps well. Landmarks and locations that haven't been discovered yet will be greyed out for each player, so everyone will at least know where to start looking.

The Landmark Locations

Here is a map with all of the locations for every landmark. Players will have to look inside of each circled area for a building or geographic anomaly. Once a landmark is found, players will earn XP, that section of the map will then be in color, and there will be a pop up to let them know that another landmark was found. Once ten landmarks are lit up, this mission will be complete and players should be well on their way to completing all the Season 1, Week 1 world missions.

There are 20 total landmarks on the map, so players won't have to catch them all to be able to finish the Week 1 mission, but to be able to see the whole map, they should try to find the rest as soon as possible. While players are at it, they may even find the secret, hidden F location on Fortnite's map.

This video has a few more tips and tricks to finding all of those landmarks, if players still can't find what they are looking for:
