With all of the changes coming to Fortnite, there are still a lot of challenges and rewards to earn by exploring the game and finding secrets. This time around though, the way to earn rewards may be unfamiliar to long-time players.

Fortnite is in for a big refresh, and many players are clambering back to see what all the new updates will be. While Epic Games has kept Fortnite fresh with constant new material and events, this is likely the biggest change the game has ever seen.

The End event has caused huge shockwaves for everyone interested in the game. In past seasons, completing challenges for specific missions would unlock loading screens with clues on the locations of hidden Battle Stars. Then, players could search the map for Battle Stars to earn rewards.

Fortnite: Where to Find the Letter F

This time around, though, there are no Battle Stars. Instead, players will be searching for the letters in “FORTNITE.” These letters will likewise be hidden in loading screens, which will give clues to their locations on the map. Finding all of the letters will unlock the Mystery Skin for this season, so it is definitely worth it to do the necessary sleuthing. Players who like this kind of exploration will be happy to know that there is even more to find in Fortnite now.

For Week One, players will be searching for the letter F. The first step is to complete eight of the New World Mission challenges. This will unlock the Week One Loading Screen and allow the player to find the F when they go to the correct location.

The Week One Loading screen shows three characters looking over Lazy Lake. On the right side of the loading screen, sitting atop a hill at the corner of the paved area is a small blue F.

Going to that hill in the game will allow players to find the F. The hill is located directly to the East of the area marked Lazy Lake on the map. The F will be located at the top-right corner of the “E” in the Lazy Lake label on the map. When approached, the F will appear as a blue object about half the height of the player character. It will have an interaction prompt, but it can only be seen if the player has unlocked the Loading Screen by completing the eight New World Mission challenges.

With so much happening, even the most unlikely people are asking about Fortnite. This massive update to a game that was already so popular is a very bold move, but it seems to be paying off by bringing back fans and catching the attention of everyone else.
