A new developer update for Aion Legions of War outlines a revamped New User Experience, plus an update on battle mechanics.
The team has worked to completely revamp the new user experience including reducing download size, removing the story mission prologue, restructuring cinematics, removing mandatory tutorials, and more.
Battle mechanics have also seen a revamp, including:
- 1 Tank who diverts the boss’ attacks and handles taunting/defending
- 1 Melee hero that blocks enemies’ skills and causes combo statuses
- 1 Ranged hero that uses linked skills in response to combo statuses
- 1 Healer responsible for resurrection and recovery.
