For those looking to hop into gamigo's upcoming ArcheAge: Unchained, you can get primed soon thanks to character reservations coming to the game. Coming this Saturday, October 5th, players can hop in and reserve the character they want to start their new ArcheAge adventure with.

Originally stated that the character reservation would happen on October 1st with the release of the PTS version of ArcheAge: Unchained, the team moved the date back to the 5th in order to give players enough time to pre-download the client.

We originally communicated that Character Reservation was targeted to occur simultaneously with the release of the Unchained Public Test Server (PTS) on October 1st, 2019. This was sub-optimal for several reasons:We needed to adequately communicate the Character Reservation Time with enough grace period to pre-download the client.

  • Players would have to choose to either rush to PTS or reserve their character if both were available at the same time.
  • Some players felt that the weekday release time was inappropriate due to collision with life responsibilities.
  • Customers who were attempting to buy the Founders packs encountered purchase delays requiring a customer support response.

Players will be able to download the Shadows Revealed client 24 hours prior to the reservation times. Players can hop in and reserve their character on October 5th at the following times:

EUROPEAN REGION: Saturday, October 5th, 2019 at 10:00 AM UTC

NORTH AMERICAN REGION: Saturday, October 5th, 2019 at 10:00 AM PDT

Be sure to check out the full post for details, especially pertaining to the upcoming PTS which opens for founders tomorrow, October 1st. We've been playing on the Media Preview server, which is the upcoming PTS, and will let you know our thoughts on how ArcheAge has evolved from its F2P days later this week.
