During the Tokyo Game Show 2019, Koei Tecmo has been on hand to reveal new information about the upcoming Fairy Tail RPG based on the popular manga and anime series of the same name.
The events of the game start with the Tenrou Island arc (Chapter 203 of the manga / Episode 97 of the anime) and follow along. The first half of the game is dedicated to the Grand Magic Games. The game will feature new quests and episodes that will be carefully interwoven into the events of the manga / anime to not break continuity and logic.
The team has also shown off a new trailer to introduce some of the characters that will make it into the game. In the video below you can get glimpses of Erza Scarlet, Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, Wendy Marvel, Gray Fullbaster, Makarov and others.
Demons, dark wizards, dragons, and cats – players will find it all as they start your journey in the land of Fiore. In FAIRY TAIL, wizards play through the adventures of Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia, as well as other eccentric members of the FAIRY TAIL mage guild, on a fun-filled and thrilling quest. GUST Studios is creating the game under the supervision of author Hiro Mashima, promising a faithful recreation for the FAIRY TAIL world and its unusual inhabitants; including everything from magic to its iconic characters.
Fairy Tail will be available in 2020 on PC, PS4, and Switch.
