Neverwinter spices up PvP with new seasons and campaign mechanics

Them's fightin' words.

The most recent patch for Neverwinter added a new arena, but the game’s PvP changes aren’t stopping there. Players will have even more reason to beat up their fellow players with the new PvP seasons, which offer players a variety of rewards useful across the entire game alongside special titles for the most elite participants. The pre-season (or season zero, if you prefer) is starting on September 12th; players who enjoy the competition will be taking part in Domination matches to see who’s the best around.

Meanwhile, the game’s PvP campaign is being widely overhauled as well. The existing boons and reward tracks hadn’t kept up with the game, but the restructured campaign is divided not by PvP mode but by which objectives you take part in. There are new boons and rewards for advancing through play rather than chasing down specific modes. Players will also be granted special titles for having already cleared the original set of PvP tasks, so those who are devoted fighters of other players will still get a reward even before progressing along the new tracks.
