Control, the supernatural adventure from Remedy Games is out now on PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.

Following on from developer Remedy Game’s previous title, Control takes place in a world that is not all that it appears to be. Tracing the footsteps of Jesse Faden, players are tasked with taking charge of a clandestine organization. This Federal Bureau of Control doesn’t need a paper pusher, however. As Director of this group, Jesse has the worst first day imaginable and begins by battling a force known as the Hiss. As this mysterious malevolence seeps into our reality, Jesse’s own perception comes into question as you set out to save reality and Jesse’s brother.

Remedy first teased Control back in 2017 as project P7, the follow up to Quantum Break. Like so many of Remedy’s titles, this experience takes players on a narrative adventure but this time Remedy set out to create an interactive experience. While Alan Wake and Quantum break are both incredible stories, Control allows players to discover the world that Jesse and the bureau are trying to protect. Set inside a mysterious headquarters, known as the Oldest House, the corridors that players walk are riddled with anomalies, oddities, and the implications of this invasion. You’ll need to pick your battles as you utilize a unique sidearm and a few extra enhancements to cleanse the Oldest House of the Hiss.

After experiencing Control for myself during Gamescom 2018 and 2019, I can’t describe quite how excited I am to finally get my hands on the finished product. Remedy’s incredible writing and an interactive take on storytelling are likely to make this a must buy. If you are as enthusiastic as me, then you can grab your sidearm and enlist with the Federal Bureau of Control today over at the Epic Store, Xbox Store, and PlayStation Store. Alternatively, you can check out some of the gameplay today on publisher 505 Game’s twitch channel.

To celebrate the launch of Control, 505 Games will host a stream today from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. BST in an effort to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Guests will include YouTube personality Alanah Pearce, lead voice actress from Control Courtney Hope, Remedy’s Creative Director Sam Lake, Twitch personality SanchoWest and more. To watch or donate, please visit: https://tiltify.com/@505games/505-games-for-st-jude.
