Latest Fallout 76 ‘Inside the Vault’ peeks at Patch 12

Fallout 76

Bethesda has published the latest “Inside the Vault” newsletter for Fallout 76. In it, developers give the community a peek at what they can expect to find in Patch 12. The next major update is set to deploy later this month.

Here are the highlights of Patch 12:

Players will be able to show off all their awesome gear and geegaws when displays come to C.A.M.P.s. There will be several different types of cases available. These can be created by players from materials gathered throughout the game world. Players can set up as many as 30 displays in their C.A.M.P. which also includes stands and racks too. These can be used to “exhibit items like your favorite guns, melee weapons, magazines, bobbleheads, junk, and more,” the blog post reads. It also provides a few details on the mechanics of how to add items to a display.

The Charleston Capital Courthouse interior is being revamped “so that it better reflects the story you uncover as you play through the Key to the Past questline”.

The maximum number of Caps per character is being increased from 25,000 to 30,000 “so that you can hang onto more profits from your Vending Machine or save up for those pricey items you’ve had your eye on”.

Players tired of accidentally “using” a bed, bench or chair will be pleased to hear that a short delay to “activate” sitting or laying down is being added. This is to prevent those accidental sitdowns that can lead to an untimely death.

Lastly, a balance pass is being deployed for the Nuclear Winter battle royale mode and new “quick kits” are being added.
