World of Warcraft: Classic will have an RP-PVP server

If you look to your left, you will see a sad person.

There’s not really such a thing in modern World of Warcraft as an RP-PvP server, since the current expansion basically did away with PvP servers as a thing in the first place. But they were a classic element of the game, and players were a bit disappointed to learn that World of Warcraft: Classic would feature only the initial launch server types (RP-PvP was introduced in patch 1.8). Good news to those disappointed, though; after seeing feedback, Blizzard has opted to open an RP-PvP server for the Classic version of the game.

Precise information will be posted ahead of name reservation on August 12th, so players can coordinate with their friends to make sure that everyone is on the same server (although with a minority of RP-PvP options, it seems that one will be easy to find). Good news for those who enjoy exploring character motivations and having open wars with the other faction whenever both sides meet in the larger world!
