PVPers in Guild Wars 2 will have something to look forward to for next week, as the MMORPG will be adding a new PVP map on August 13th.
The map, titled Auric Span, is a new 2v2 PVP Map coming to Guild Wars 2. The new map will be played as an Elimination challenge, best of three format. While engaged in combat, if a battle goes longer than two minutes, healing and stealth will be disabled and area-of-effect damage will begin to "invade the arena," per the official announcement on the site.
Additionally, the Guild Wars 2 team announced the winner of the new competitive sets name which players were able to vote on. Called "Mist Lord's" Weapons, players can earn these by playing Guild Wars 2's structured PVP matches.
