Anime fans will definitely want to attend. Arc Systems Works has announced that Kill la Kill – IF has officially launched for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Six years after the original game launched, KlK-IF sends players into a 3D arena fighting game.
Players can take on the role of iconic series characters including Satsuki Kiryuin, Ryuko Matoi, and several others. While the action takes place in an arena, players will find a brand new storyline written with the assistance of Kazuki Nakashima, the original scenario writer.
Combat lets players build character strength by defeating opponents. Each time a foe is taken down, the player’s Ketsui Burst strengthens. Players will also be working to achieve the highest Ketsui Level to build the perfect ultimate to devastate opponents.
Combat takes place in a 3D cel-shaded world that captures the look and feel of the anime series. Add in some of the series’ favorites and players will find a unique and original experience.
For those who want to give it a try before buying, a demo for both PlayStation 4 and Switch has been released as well.
Producer Takeshi Yamanaka said, “Almost 6 years since Studio TRIGGER’s mega-hit KILL la KILL aired, we are very excited to finally be able to bring this game to you. During development, everyone at Arc System Works and A Plus Games most certainly heard all the American fans’ voices across the pond. we were able to re-create the original costumes in the game (lol), and I know all of you American fans might be worried you’re missing out on the cover art… but pro-tip: (whispers) turn it around.”
