Leashes? We don't need no stinkin'... oh, never mind.

Bless Unleashed’s latest closed beta on Xbox One is now officially underway. While preloading for the beta was originally supposed to begin last night, it was postponed until today and should be functional now. The beta is expected to run until 1 p.m. EDT on July 15th, so there’s plenty of time to check it out.

As we’ve previously covered, the game is a Neowiz/Round 8 Studio collab being published by Bandai Namco expressly for the Xbox One. It’s not a direct port of the now-failed Bless Online MMORPG PC, as both of our PAX previews to date have indicated; the game has been built for console as an action-combat MMO first and foremost, with little more than the setting and some art assets being shared between the titles.

A lengthy set of patch notes is currently up for folks who need something to look at while they download; expect class balancing, camera fixes, combo adjustments, new hairstyles, mount tweaks, dungeon polish, and gobs more. Neowiz did tweet that there’s a server select issue plaguing some players: “We’ve narrowed the problem down to (spoiler) our planned tests later in the week to give EU players a server in their region to see if it helps with some of the latency issues reported during our previous beta.”

Still need a key? We’ve got a few left!
