The Astellia team has posted an overview of what players can expect next week when the first closed beta event kicks off. The first few days of testing will see players take on the game "in its default state" which will allow the team to gather data on progression and to find a baseline on a number of game systems. Later a technical stress test will be held for both EU and NA players (separate servers). The closed beta client will be ready to download today for those who have been invited to take part.
Beyond testing these points and collecting gameplay information, we are excited to show you our first wave of combat improvements that include active dodging as well as the improved animations, our new in-game wiki, performance improvements and more. This is a major step forward for Astellia, and we thank all of you who have supported us this far, it has been incredible working with all of you as we prepare Astellia for launch.
