Atlas previews Blackwood, its upcoming standalone jungle map

The jungle, or the Equatorial biome according to the devs of Atlas, is going to be getting a “dark twist” evidently. Or at the very least its upcoming standalone map, ISO Blackwood, will be getting that dark twist. Basically, expect dark twist jungles.

ISO Blackwood is reportedly in the process of receiving finishing touches, and it looks like things are coming along if the preview screenshots posted by the game’s Twitter are anything to go by. According to the post, players of Atlas can expect to visit “dark jungles, caves, alcoves, villages, homes, farms and a new concept; The Mire.” So it’s basically a totally welcoming and cuddly place.

There’s no ETA on when this new map will be live, but it would seem like the time is nigh for this new spooky jungle to arrive. For now, you can take in those screenshots in the gallery below.
