Ubisoft announces several Watch Dogs Legion collector's editions, which come with merchandise and DLC. The company also confirms that Watch Dogs Legion will offer a season pass, giving players access to "exclusive" missions and character and car cosmetics.

After announcing Watch Dogs Legion at its E3 2019 press conference, Ubisoft has shared more information about the Gold Edition, Ultimate Edition, and Collector's Edition of the game. In the Gold Edition, players will get the game and a season pass with four "unique" heroes and exclusive missions. Players will also get an exclusive mask and a DedSec car skin that gives their vehicle a cool, gray and red look.

The Ultimate Edition offers the season pass as well as the Urban Jungle pack with three more heroes and missions, four week VIP status that lets them earn currency and XP 30% faster, and the elite pass voucher which offers access to "exclusive" challenges and rewards. Watch Dogs Legion characters have permadeath but it hasn't been confirmed that this will extend to the characters in the DLC packs.

Watch Dogs Legion collector's edition content

As though this somehow wasn't enough, there's the Watch Dogs Legion Collector's Edition too. This one comes with all of that DLC and several physical rewards such as a propaganda poster, a mask that lights up, a set of three stickers, an exclusive steelbook and a collector's edition box to store it all in. The Collector's Edition is $189.99, however, so these items don't come cheap.

Ubisoft has also announced pre order bonuses. Anyone who pre orders these editions of the game from Ubisoft will get the Golden King pack which has a car skin, a mask, and a gold gun skin called "Serpent Sisters". All three collector's editions for the game come with three day early access too. Ubisoft has been teasing Watch Dogs Legion for quite some time, so a few fans will probably jump at the chance to play it a little bit earlier.

It's unclear how Ubisoft may support Watch Dogs Legion with other post-launch content. The season pass that the company has just announced may only be the start of what it has planned. Watch Dogs 2 had several post-launch DLC releases and expansions, and it could be doing the same for Watch Dogs Legion. The game doesn't release until next year, though, so Ubisoft may confirm its plans before then.

Watch Dogs Legion launches March 6, 2020, for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Stadia.
