BioWare Preps For Anthem Cataclysm With PC Public Test Server

by Matthew Kato on May 29, 2019 at 09:57 AM

Electronic Arts and internal studio BioWare are still working on releasing the game's Act 1 post-launch content (including a cataclysm, missions, a new freeplay event, and more) which was delayed last month. At the time the developer said it needed to make a number of bug and stability fixes before it could commence, and today the Update 1.2 was released addressing various issues (click for the full patch notes).

Along with the update, a community manager also posted a message regarding the upcoming content. While they didn't give a specific release date, they said the 1.2 update is paving the way for the cataclysm. Furthermore, BioWare is releasing a public test server (PTS) on PC in order for the community to try and comment on the content before it's made publicly available – a good step for helping the game move forward.

Finally, fans can get a first look at the cataclysm tomorrow via a livestream.
