Fresh off its Kickstarter, indie MMO Oath has opened its forums and pledge website

The MMORPG Oath saw a flurry of coverage this past spring as it wound its way through Kickstarter: It’s a free-to-play indie sandbox MMO with PvE and PvP alike. The Kickstarter itself raised $67,000 and was intended to fund specific content, the UI, and maps ahead of the first alpha, which is expected to launch by the end of this year.

Since the Kickstarter, Ready-Up Studios has apparently been busy: It’s continued taking player funding via a pledge website, raising an additional $18,000 by our count on the path to more stretch goals. There’s a new forum as well. And the team’s got a running thread with new visuals – remember, the devs said the game’s graphics would be changing by launch – so there are images of character models, concept art for Kickstarter rewards, the map, and even some landscape paintings.

“We will be sending out everyone’s Kickstarter Reward Keys in the next 24 hours, so keep an eye out for an email from us,” the devs wrote last night.
