The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan Sets Sail for Scares 30 August

The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan

The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan just set a date to cast off. Get on board Bandai Namco’s own ghost ship and get ready for one terrifying cruise on 30 August.

Developed by Britain’s Supermassive Games, Man of Medan is a distinctly different take on Bandai Namco’s usual fare of bright anime adaptations. The first stand-alone horror in an anthology of games, The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan follows the fate of a group of friends as they embark on an adventure with takes a turn for the worse. After the four young Americans and their skipper set out to search for a WWII wreck, and party, a massive storm rolls in and the friends find themselves trapped on an eerie ghost ship.

We got a hands-on preview at Gamescom 2018 and the fate of these five is a gripping start to the series. The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan is ready to bring this chilling tale to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC when it goes live and users who pre-order will get day one access to the game’s Curator’s Cut. This added extra will come to everyone at a later date and includes the following additions.

  • A new perspective with alternative characters in previously played scenes
  • New decisions and choices within each scene which change the story in different ways
  • New scenes and new secrets not featured in your original playthrough

If you are ready to follow the fate of these friends then you can find out more about The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan on the game’s official website now.
