But then Bart said 'this is stupid' and stopped so I won!

It seems like Shadowbringers is just around the corner (to the extent that 42 days is “just around the corner”) and Final Fantasy XIV players the world over are looking forward to updates to the most vital of all game elements: mahjong. What do you mean you wanted to hear about the benchmark or job actions? That’s silly. What you want are mahjong updates. And let’s be real, they’re pretty nice updates.

Want to see your opponent’s faces during mahjong? The update offers that as an option, along with letting you emote in the hopes of throwing your opponents off their game. You’ll also have the option to cancel calls and a status display indicating when you are unable to make certain calls. If you’re in an awful slump in terms of having risen above where you can effectively play, you can also reset your rating and ranking back to the base. It’s all a nice addition to the Gold Saucer, and something to look forward to as you await information from the now-ongoing media tour.
