Who needs weapons to lay waste to enemies? Certainly not the Mage in Bless Unleashed. This class is all about delivering devastation to the battlefield with nothing more than a flick of the stick. (Most Mages prefer to have said stick called a “staff” because it feels more imposing.) Of course, the flip side is that in addition to not bringing a proper weapon, the Mage also did not bring proper armor, and thus will die to a concentrated attack. Or a dilute attack. Heck, if the right monster stares hard, that’ll do it.
Obviously, this is all familiar to those of you who have played games featuring something called a Mage over the past four decades or so. Still, the explosions on display in the new trailer do look very convincingly painful. So check it out and look forward to twirling your stick for elemental destruction in the game itself.
