It just wouldn’t be a Fallout game without rusty antique signs and vending machines, now would it? Bethsoft agrees, and this week it’s previewing the personal vending machines en route to Fallout 76 on May 7th.

“With Patch 9, we’re going to add personal Vending Machines that aspiring entrepreneurs around Appalachia can use to turn their C.A.M.P.s into makeshift markets,” the studio writes. “These vending machines will allow you to turn a profit by selling items you’ve made or found during your adventures. You can also visit other Dwellers’ C.A.M.P.s to pick up new gear for your collection.”

Essentially, players who build these vendors can upload whatever they want to sell from their stash, select the prices, and the advertise their C.A.M.P. location for other players.

Bethsoft’s dev blog today also says it’s adding a new mole miner vendor and legendary exchange machines so you can trade your legendary junk for scrip, plus multiple weapon balancing adjustments and updates to the survival mode scoreboard.
