You know the only thing better than crushing your enemies, seeing them driven before you, and hearing the lamentations of their women? Crushing your enemies, seeing them driven before you, and hearing the lamentations of their women with a friend, which is exactly what you’ll be able to do in Conan Unconquered, the upcoming RTS title from Petroglyph. And to demonstrate just how you and a buddy can team up to build a base and fend off the endless hordes of savage invaders, the studio has released a new video that puts the spotlight on the game’s co-op mode.

Featuring a whole 20 minutes of gameplay footage, the video shows off virtually every facet of gameplay. Starting with a single, defenseless keep, the players (Community Manager Jens Erik Vaaler and Designer Renato Orellana) take players through the process of exploring the randomly generated map, gathering resources, and building up defenses in preparation for the inevitable onslaught of invading forces. And as an added bonus, there’s plenty of interesting commentary and insight into the various mechanics players will have to master if they want to survive in the barbaric world of Hyboria when the game hits Steam on May 30th. If that sounds up your alley, you can check out the video in its entirety just below.
