It’s the closest thing we’ve got to a date on Guild Wars 2’s next living world episode so far: ArenaNet just announced that War Eternal, the final episode for the season, is launching “next month.” There’s a wee trailer too showing off the new Skyscale mount with its vertical takeoffs, the new legendary greatsword weapon (yay rainbows), and the new Mist Shard armor set, which pretty much looks like crystals and dragon scales. (That greatsword though! Daaaaaang.)
As for which day in May the episode will land? That’s still up in the air, but last week’s release of the War Eternal Supply Drop Requisition purchase might be a clue, as the final week for that sale ends May 20th.
