BioWare's General Manager Casey Hudson has written a new blog on the company's site to provide his insight into the post launch of Anthem. "On the one hand, it's been a rougher launch than expected. But then as I think back, we also knew that big new online games tend to hit some kind of problem once they go live," he wrote. He indicates that the team could not "see" the issues until the game was "operating at the scale of millions of players".

"We were, of course, very disappointed about that, as were many of you." Hudson admitted.

The team is aware of the issues and the "live team has worked hard on all that" and have patched or made over 200 improvements in stability, look, progression and customization.

BioWare continues to monitor feedback and will be working on a number of issues including endgame loot and progression, game flow, stability and performance and that updates addressing each of these should be coming soon.

At the end of the letter, Hudson says that, while Anthem is "a little different than we've done before", games coming in the future "will be different with Anthem".
