Catching shiny creatures in Pokemon GO isn’t nearly as uncommon as it is in the handheld main series (or even in the latest Switch title), but it’s still an incredibly exciting achievement. Niantic definitely recognizes how much the community loves shiny Pokemon and has been releasing a steady stream of them during the last year.

A new shiny family arrives every month on Community Day (like the upcoming Treecko event), but the other in-game events have also been adding additional shiny sprites to the world. So many have been released this past fall and winter alone that it’s a little hard to keep track of which ones are available in Pokemon GO and how players can secure them.

Luckily, the Pokemon GO community is great at compiling this type of information. A new infographic shared on The Silph Road shows every shiny available as of the last day of February.

Players should keep in mind that that an Equinox event is likely right around the corner, so it is very possible that event may introduce some new shiny creatures, as well.

Collecting shiny Pokemon doesn’t give the trainer any kind of advantage in battle, but it is still a fun additional challenge to add into the game. Shiny Pokemon are perfect for leaving in Gyms to show off to the rest of the community.

We’ll continue to post updates as additional shiny Pokemon are added in the future. Be sure to check back for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!

Pokemon GO is available now in select regions on Android and iOS devices.
