It won't be too much longer before fans of Tom Clancy's The Division 2 are able to give the third-person shooter a go ahead of release thanks to its forthcoming open beta period, with the game's full launch then set to occur shortly thereafter. Now, in order to continue preparing potential players for the types of challenges the action-RPG will have in store, Ubisoft has released a new gameplay trailer that highlights some of the title's endgame content.

The trailer showcases one of the factions that players will face during The Division 2's endgame portion, with Ubisoft calling them "The Black Tusk". The organization is loaded for bear, highly tech-oriented, and is outfitted with heavily armored robotics, drones, and BigDogs to turn the tide of a fight in their favor. As it so happens, the development team has previously called these enemies the "hardest faction" it has ever created.

In order to combat The Black Tusk, Agents will have the ability to arm themselves with high-level specialization classes such as the sniper rifle-wielding Sharpshooter loadout, the crossbow-equipped Survivalist loadout, and the grenade launcher-centric Demolition loadout. As implied by the end of Ubisoft's latest trailer for the game, this content along with The Black Tusk enemy faction should be included to be experienced in the open beta when it goes live at the beginning of March.

For those unaware, The Division 2's open beta is set to provide players with all of the content that was encountered during the private beta. With this being the case, not only will The Black Tusk and the aforementioned endgame Agent specializations be there during the upcoming trial period, but also side missions like the one tasking players with retrieving the Declaration of Independence should be available, too.

All things considered, while the endgame content shown off at this point in time for The Division 2 definitely shows promise, Ubisoft will still need to keep pumping the title full of meaningful post-launch content for the rest of the year and thereafter in order to keep players thoroughly engaged. The original game stumbled somewhat in this regard, but eventually found its footing with solid endgame updates several months after release. So, here's to hoping that The Division 2 manages to avoid the mistakes made during the 2016 release's development.

The Division 2 is scheduled to release on March 15, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
