For Media Molecule and its upcoming launch of Dreams, the longer than expected length of development has only left fans with more questions than answers. From being used as a tech demo showcasing the power of PlayStation 4 before its release, to the multiple beta delays the game has endured, fans finally know they won't need to wait long to get their hands on the creation and sharing experience from the developers behind the LittleBigPlanet series.

Announced via the PlayStation Blog by Media Molecule Studio Director Siobhan Reddy, the Creator Early Access version of Dreams will be launching this Spring on PlayStation 4. The Creator Early Access version won't offer all the tools available in the full version of the game, however everything Media Molecule has used to make Dreams is available for all who buy the Early Access version. During this time, Media Molecule says it'll continue to update and add assets to the game, all the way up to its full release.

For those who participated in the Dreams closed Beta last month, all of their created and published assets will be brought over to the Early Access version. The Early Access version is listed at $29.99 USD and $39.99 CAD, and Media Molecule has stressed the Early Access version is for those who participated in the closed beta and enjoyed their time, and anyone who intends on purchasing a copy of Dreams to use as a creation tool. Reddy was straightforward by saying anyone not interested in using Dreams' creative tools, or simply not satisfied with the closed beta, should wait until the full release.

One of the more important features of the Early Access version is Dreams will be allowed to be streamed or recorded for anyone to watch. This is in contrast to the NDA agreements creators were tied to for the closed beta, although this didn't stop people from posting a number of impressive creations online, catching the attention of many. Media Molecule seems confident in the community to help promote and share Dreams in their own ways, from game creations, movies, art, music, and much more.

Dreams will release in early access this Spring for PlayStation 4.
