From February 15th to February 17th, Legends of Aria players are invited to take part in a scavenger hunt called Relic of the Ancients. During the event, players will be tasked with deciphering clues to discover constantly changing "hot spots" throughout the game world. Hotspot locations will change about every hour. Finding a hotspot and killing monsters in the area will yield both regular loot and Relic Fragments that can be traded for "super secret exclusive items".
Players will also be able to check out the Friends List function that will be added in an update ahead of the event. This will allow them to keep in touch with those they may meet throughout the weekend and beyond.
Derek "Supreem" Brinkmann will be on hand on February 16th at 11:00 am Pacific / 2:00 pm Eastern for a live town hall as well. Check it out on the LoA Twitch channel.
Lastly, Legends of Aria will be on sale. Ordinarily, the price is $29.99, but for the duration of the event, players can get hold of a copy of the game for $19.99. It's the perfect time, too, with the Steam Early Access launch coming in the near future.
