The Division 2 Private Beta is live and it offers players a chance to experience the game's early missions, three of the endgame Specialization classes, an endgame mission, the Dark Zone, and the Skirmish PvP mode. But the beta does not throw all that content at players right when they sign in. In fact, some may have a hard time finding exactly how to access some of that content. Before the beta closes at 1 a.m. PST on Monday, February 11, here's how to get the most out of the beta.

Skirmish PvP

Many players may not realize that the 4v4 Skirmish PvP mode is available almost right from the start. There is no obvious messaging about it, and it is pretty easy to run right past the PvP area. The only thing players need to do to unlock PvP is to gain access to the White House Base of Operations. Considering that the beta starts by putting players in the middle of Washington, D.C. and points them straight at the White House to claim it back from some enemies, PvP is basically unlocked by default.

To access PvP, when facing the entrance to the White House, turn to the right and head under the Rally Point Omaha sign. As players enter that next section, go to the helipad on the left side of the area. Underneath it is an NPC who players interact with to launch the matchmaking for PvP.

Specializations & Endgame Mission

Players have access to three different Specializations in the beta. These are unlocked once players complete the Jefferson Trade Center mission, which is the second mission after the White House liberation and the first mission that unlocks the Theatre Settlement. Once players complete the Jefferson Trade Center mission, they should log out to the character select screen where they can choose between the Specializations, which are equipped with endgame gear and their special signature weapons. From there, players can play the "Invaded" mission, which is the endgame version of the same Jefferson Trade Center mission, but now it is populated by the high-level Black Tusk endgame faction.

The Dark Zone

Like the endgame content, the Dark Zone unlocks after completing the Jefferson Trade Center mission. Players will receive a mission from Senait Ezera, an NPC in the Base of Operations. That mission introduces players to the mechanics of the Dark Zone without any other live players. Once that mission is completed, players can jump freely into the full experience of Dark Zone East.

The Division 2 Private Beta will run until 1 a.m PST on February 11. The beta is also scheduled to have maintenance for three hours on Sunday, February 10 starting at 12:30 a.m. PST.

The Division 2 releases on March, 15, 2019 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
