Lord of the Rings Online readies its next progression server unlock

For the past couple of months, Standing Stone Games hasn’t spoken much on the status and future of Lord of the Rings Online’s progression servers (to be fair, the studio doesn’t talk much about its games in public these days period). But a short dev post on the forums confirmed that the next step for these “legendary” shards are still on track for a March release.

The post said that Moria and Lothlorien — the first unlock for the servers following their November launch — will be coming in “Q1 March-ish” and cover all content up through the new level cap of 60. And yes, before you ask, the skirmish system is going to be included here.

SSG didn’t address player queries about any gear stat balacing or the controversial presence of essence armor but did say that PvMP is not on the table for Moria or any foreseeable future.
