The drums of war are sounding in The Elder Scrolls Online as the game gears up for its Midsummer Madness PvP event. From Thursday, January 10th until Monday, January 21st, players can get their hands on the event-exclusive Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity, a reusable buff item that grants double Alliance Points and PvP XP.

On top of that, in addition to receiving the usual rewards for participating in PvP activities and completing PvP-related quests, players will also receive Pelinal’s Midyear Boon Boxes, which can contain an array of goodies ranging from transmute crystals and alchemy reagents to style items and housing decorations. And as if that weren’t enough, players will also have the opportunity to stock up on crafting materials, as harvesting nodes in Cyrodiil and the Imperial City will yield twice as many resources for the duration of the event.

And of course, Midsummer Madness will also give players the chance to earn event tickets that can be used to buy the first of their Indrik Berries necessary to evolve their Nascent Indrik mounts into full-grown Dawnwood Indrik mounts. Event tickets are rewarded from completing PvP daily quests, and players can earn up to two tickets per day. For the full details on the Midsummer Madness event, be sure to check out the announcement over at the game’s official site.
