With the release of Destiny 2: Black Armory on the horizon, there should be no surprise that new information has begun to leak. However, a recently leaked cinematic has revealed something that may genuinely surprise fans. It's worth emphasizing that this is a MAJOR SPOILER, so for those who do not wish to know, turn back now.

As many know, the Forsaken DLC revolved around avenging Cayde-6's death at the hands of Prince Uldren Sov, who himself was being manipulated. But it appears that at some point after the events of Forsaken and potentially during the Destiny 2 Black Armory DLC, Uldren is resurrected. While that would be surprising enough, the events of his resurrection are even more shocking.

In fact, Uldren is revived by a Ghost known as Pulled Pork which had found where he was laid to rest in the Dreaming City. This means that Uldren has become a lightbearer, a guardian much like the player character. His current whereabouts are unknown, but Destiny 2 players could potentially learn something in the coming days. Regardless, check out the leaked cinematic that revealed all of this below:

Those familiar with Destiny 2 lore will also realize that his revival came with a cost; that is, he will have lost his memories as a result of becoming a guardian. However, while he has forgotten, it doesn't seem likely that the player, Ikora, or Commander Zavala will have.

Interestingly enough, it makes one wonder whether this DLC plot is building up to the next installment of the sci-fi shooter. Recent rumors have suggested that Guardians will have access to the Darkness, not just the Light of the Traveler, in Destiny 3. So, building off the terrible things Uldren has done, it will be interesting if this concept gets slowly introduced between now and the threequel to this popular franchise.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
