Larian Studios has partnered up with creators of the Dark Eye tabletop RPG to bring a new GM-led campaign to Divinity: Original Sin 2. The Prison of Shadow content is a unique campaign for a GM and three to five players. The action is centered an abandoned dwarven city where the party has been sent to find a "dangerous artifact" where they will face off against the "cultists of the Nameless God". The update is expected to launch on November 21st.
Divinity: Original Sin 2’s innovative Game Master Mode bridges the gap between the creativity and improvisation of a tabletop role-playing campaign, and the immersion of a computer RPG. This system was created with a single goal; to empower the Game Master so they can tell great stories and lead up to four players through a world of their own creation.
Viewers can get a look at the free update during a live stream event on November 21st at 11:00 am Pacific / 2:00 pm Eastern in the Larian Twitch channel.
