Last week saw developer Jam City add the Weird Sisters side quest to Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery instead of a new story chapter. This week, fans of the popular mobile game have some new main story content to look forward to as the studio has added Year 5 Chapter 9 as part of the latest update.

The latest update for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is out now, and gives players the chance to learn how to use the Floo Network in the game. At this point in the story, the main character is wanting to travel to Knockturn Alley, the creepy street adjacent to the more brightly-lit Diagon Alley, and so he gets some help from Madam Rakepick.

Besides the main story quests, Hogwarts Mystery players also have a pair of new classes to go through as well. There is a new Potions class to complete, which requires nine stars to unlock, as well as a new Herbology class, which again, requires nine stars to unlock. The quickest way to get all of the necessary stars would be to do one five hour class, and then a couple of two hour classes to finish up.

Completing these classes should be a little less tedious than usual because of the ongoing event, which rewards players for completing classes with full stars. Like most events in the game, the latest Hogwarts Mystery event lets players unlock a unique cosmetic item if they earn all of the stars necessary, and it also comes with some other rewards as well.

The first reward players will unlock is a batch of coins, but players may be most interested in the notebooks that are available as later rewards. Notebooks are the only way players can adopt some of the magical creatures in Hogwarts Mystery, and they are somewhat hard to come by in the game. Hogwarts Mystery players who want to unlock everything the game has to offer will want to jump at this opportunity to get their hands on some notebooks.

Next week should see the addition of Year 5 Chapter 10 to Hogwarts Mystery (assuming the new chapter wasn't part of the latest update), so fans of the mobile game should have plenty to look forward to in the near future.
