While Path of Exile players are still anxiously awaiting the official announcement of the next expansion and its subsequent release – slated for November 14th and December 8th, respectively – Grinding Gear Games is looking to tide them over with the release of patch 3.4.4, which brings “several improvements and bug fixes for the Delve League.” Most of the changes are fairly minor, such as ensuring that the camera behaves itself when using the Bodyswap, Charged Dash, and Smoke Mine abilities. Aside from that, the patch is mostly comprised of bug fixes for various abilities and ability modifiers.

The Xbox One version of the game is getting a little extra love in this patch as well. Again, it’s nothing especially major — it’s mostly bug fixes, including a few particularly egregious ones that caused the game to crash “when loading into areas which contained water.” But Xbox One players should nevertheless be pleased to know that the game should perform somewhat better following the patch, as the devs have “Improved the speed at which item, buff and skill art are loaded when entering an area.”

Meanwhile, in non-patch-related news, some members the Grinding Gear Games team are taking part in Movember, a month-long event during which those with the ability to do so are encouraged to grow out their moustaches in order to raise awareness of men’s health issues. As part of the awareness- and fund-raising effort, the team has posted a series of pictures showing off some of the participating devs’ efforts. You can check out their fabulous facial hair — and find a link where you can donate to the cause — over on the game’s official forums.
