Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy Comes To Xbox One Backward Compatibility Next Week

by Brian Shea on Nov 10, 2018 at 05:00 PM

The Final Fantasy XIII trilogy will be playable on Xbox One starting this week. The three games, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2, and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, came out between 2009 and 2014 and are the latest additions to Xbox One's ever-growing backward compatibility initiative.

In addition to being playable on Xbox One, these three Fabula Nova Crystallis titles are also receiving additional enhancements on Xbox One X machines.

In addition to those titles coming to Xbox One backward compatibility, Microsoft also announced that the already-backward compatible Civilization Revolution is getting Xbox One X enhancements. The update, which includes the addition of the Final Fantasy XIII games and the enhancements to Civilization Revolution, will be available on November 13.
