The Elder Scrolls Online site has been updated with a new blog post about the new mechanics that have appeared on Cyrodiil with Update 20. While players could always destroy specific walls with siegen engines, players will have new tactical ways to battle the enemy. Players "can use your catapults, ballistae, and trebuches to bring down Cyrodiil's numerous bridges and Milegates, too!"
With all the new destructible things available to players, new options also open up on whether to defend by reinforcing the keep or to go on the offensive to destroy bridges to slow the advance of the opponent.
Players will also find Outposts sprinkled throughout Cyrodiil that provide new locations from which to launch assaults.
