The lore of Skyforge has always been concerned with space. Lots of beings travel to the world of Aelion from deep space and proceed to invade the planet, forcing the player characters to beat them back. But the planned future updates for the near future are turning the tables; now players will be heading out into deep space to find a new race occupying a planet that Aelion really wants. So what do you do? You invade, obviously!
It’s fine, don’t worry, this new enemy isn’t native to the planet; it’s more like a counter-invasion.
Of course, players will first need to repulse a new Mantide invasion with even more deadly enemies and form a new alliance with a stranger to the deities of the planet. It’s plenty of stuff to keep players busy through December and February, so check out the full roadmap for a few more teases of the future. And don’t worry about being the invaders instead of the invaded this time, after seven invasions you get to invade a planet without any moral compunctions.
