Have you ever wished that you could have a cybernetically enhanced dinosaur as a pet? Of course you have, and if you happen to be a Star Trek Online player, then you’re in luck, as Perfect World Entertainment has announced the return of the Breach special event. The event, which will run from October 16th until November 6th, will task Captains between levels 50 and 65 with forming groups of five with “flying a streamlined route into and out of the Voth fortress.”
Players can queue for the event every 20 hours, with each successful completion earning them one Voth Operative Transmission. After accumulating 14 Voth Operative Transmissions, players can then complete “a new Event Reputation project to be rewarded with 50,000 Dilithium Ore, 500 Fleet Marks, 250 Marks of their choice, and a Bio-Engineered Furiadon Combat pet,” which is “equipped with head-mounted twin anti-proton lasers and capable of a vicious bite.” Yes, that’s right: It’s a dinosaur with frickin’ lasers on its frickin’ head.
