One of the developers working on Warhammer: Chaosbane, Kris, has taken to YouTube to present viewers with a first-ever look at the gameplay they can expect in the forthcoming ARPG that is due out for PS4, XB1 and PC in 2019.
The game takes place "shortly after the great war against Chaos" and sports an isometric view with gameplay that strongly resembles the Diablo series. A new threat has emerged that will upset the balance of power. Kris plays as a Captain of the Empire, a melee combat specialist. Each class has its own unique skills and gameplay mechanics that work in concert with other classes. Another character shown is a ranged mage.
It remains unknown how much character customization players will have in terms of gender or look. The video seems to indicated that the character classes are gender locked and pre-named.
