Working on a Fix for a Windows 10 Issue & Info Coming 'Soon' About Continued Support

We recently received a tip from an MMORPG.com user that expressed concern over an ongoing Windows 10 issue with Devilian as well as whether or not there will be continued support for the game after the change of "Bluehold Ginno" to PUBG Corp. We reached out to Trion for a comment regarding both and we have their response.

According to Trion's Steven Hopper:

We are still in active discussions with Bluehole Ginno to resolve the Windows issue, but there’s unfortunately not be much I can say at this point. Talks regarding support for the game are ongoing, and we’re hoping to have more information for Devilian players soon. We’ll be sure to let you know when we can.

Mr. Hopper also reminded fans that Trion has no involvement with the mobile version of Devilian.

Prior to today's answer and news tip, Devilian players had recently penned an Open Letter to the Executive Producer about the game's near term future:

I’m creating this (now public) topic as an open letter in hopes that Trion Worlds will be able to provide more clarity on Devilian heading into 2018 for the remaining small community. I personally do not play that much anymore but still know some who do enjoy putting in significant amounts of time so this is more for them than it is for me. As you (Firecait) probably are well aware of, Bluehole, Inc underwent some organizational changes recently (something they have been trying to do for several months due to the unexpected success they have had with PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS aka PUBG on Steam Early Access). PUBG’s lead designer Brendan Greene was originally hired as creative director for Bluehole Ginno since they originally were the subsidiary that was tasked with creating/managing global franchises.

You can read the full thread on the Devilian site. We'll keep you posted as the story develops.

Thanks, anonymous tipster!
