War Games Returns In Free Titanfall 2 DLC
In the latest free DLC for Titanfall 2, Respawn has brought back the classic War Games map from the original Titanfall.
The setting of War Games was a pilot training simulation which merged two Titanfall maps into one: Angel City and Airbase. Rather than dropping into battle, pilots loaded into a training pod to begin matches, which gave the map a unique aesthetic.
The War Games DLC pack also includes a new Live Fire map called Traffic, and a new pilot execution. Developer Respawn Entertainment is also keeping Titan Brawl as a permanent game mode, and will add a third weapon slot, meaning pilots get a primary, secondary and anti-Titan weapon.
The War Games is available now on all platforms.

Our Take
As a massive fan of the original Titanfall who didn't care for Titanfall 2, this is huge news for me. War Games was one of my favorite maps from the first Titanfall because of its style and design. Also the addition of a third weapon slot is a big deal, as not having an anti-pilot and anti-Titan weapon at all times was one of Titanfall 2's biggest turn-offs for me. I'm now strongly considering grabbing some friends and giving Titanfall 2 another try.
